Arts & Crafts Camp:
June 3-6; 1-2:30 p.m.
Suggested ages --  Entering kindergarten through upper elementary

Each day of this fun-filled camp will have a “theme” and all our arts and crafts projects will relate to the theme of the day.  Your child will explore a variety of materials throughout the week and will bring home many lovely creations.  Sometimes, we’ll create several very different projects using a single material such as craft sticks or yarn.  Or maybe all our projects for the day will “glow in the dark!”  No matter what, your child will have a blast!!

Weaving, Knitting and Fibers, Oh My!:
June 10-13; 1-2:30 p.m.
Suggested ages – Entering first grade through upper elementary

In this “fiber arts” camp, your child will explore a variety of techniques and materials all using various fibers.  We’ll weave, we’ll knit, we’ll needlepoint!  Oh, the possibilities!!  If your child has previously loved the Sewing Clubs at Walnut Hill Studio, they’ll have SEW much fun at Fiber Arts Camp!

Doll Camp:
June 17-20; 10-11:30 a.m.
Suggested ages – You’re never too old or young to love dolls.  All ages welcome.

In this camp, your child will bring along an 18-inch dolly friend!  Dolly and camper will spend four fun-filled mornings crafting and playing together.  Each day will have a theme and our craft projects and play will relate to the day’s theme.  Themes for the week include:  Let’s Celebrate!, All About Pets, Gone Camping, & Diva Day!  This camp will be SO much fun and will encourage good old-fashioned doll play and lots of imagination.

Builder’s Camp:
June 17-20; 1-2:30 p.m.
Suggested ages – Entering first grade through upper elementary

This camp will be a “hands-on” adventure every minute!  Throughout the week, we’ll craft, build and create with a variety of materials including wood, string, LEGO bricks and recycled materials.  We’ll also use a variety of tools including hammers, nails and drills to name a few!!  If you have a mechanically inclined little person, this camp is sure to be a hit!!

Writer’s Camp:
June 24-27; 10-11:30 a.m.
Suggested ages – Entering third grade through upper elementary

This camp is geared towards your budding story teller.  In addition to creating some awesome journals, we will spend each day of camp creating with words.  Each day of camp will have a “focus” that will help guide our learning and projects.  During the week we’ll explore poetry, personal narrative, descriptive writing and dialogue in a variety of fun ways.  Please note:  This camp is designed for children who already love to write and work with words.  It is not intended to be a remedial camp for struggling writers.
